How do I create providers in MirrorMed

Providers are a special type of Users. Create a User and set the type to Provider and then you will be given more provider specific options for that user.

Where do I get cpt codes

CPT codes are copyright AMA so we cannot publically distribute them. Contact Fred Trotter once you have purchased them, and he will get you a file in the right format for import into the db.

Windows Questions

MirrorMed does not support Windows. This is for ethical reasons and practical resource limitations.

Shared Hosting Questions

MirrorMed does not support shared hosting, user space linux or virtual private server. Shared hosting environs, no matter how they are implemented are difficult to support and difficult to make HIPAA compliant. Given that, the MirrorMed project cannot spare the resources to answer questions about them.

Typically when someone tries to install the server on a shared host, they will run into problems caused by their lack of control of the php environment. For instance they find that they cannot install the codepacks b/c of memory. The real problem is NOT how to get the code packs, it is how to use other process intensive process, like provider scheduler manager. This interface is just one that fails silently without enough memory.

You need to get a host to test MirrorMed. period. You can install on a local box and we will help you. You can rent a server and we will help you.

I can't load images onto the Wiki

This is a library problem with xampp. PECL is not working. So, no images for now.
